David Base Dave Base has been married for 23 years and has two children. The native Californian moved with his family to Grapevine, Texas, 10 years ago. Dave works for Chevron Energy Solutions developing large energy-efficiency and renewable-energy projects for federal customers from Florida to Hawaii and all points in between. When not working, Dave enjoys all things golf. |
Caryn Carson A naturalized Texan who grew up a Redskins fan in the Washington, D.C., area, Caryn Carson loves country music, classic rock, and art history. Her boyfriend Brian keeps her constantly laughing, and she considers herself blessed to have a terrific job as an employment lawyer with Tenet Healthcare, a wonderful set of friends who keep her sane, and the unwavering love of a dog named Rose.

Justin Forer Justin Forer is a management consultant with IBB Consulting Group, where he serves as a trusted adviser on strategic marketing, technology, and operational challenges to executives in the media, wireless, and cable industries. This basically means that all his hard work makes it easier for people like you and me to watch their favorite shows on their TVs, computers, and cell phones. Justin is also a newlywed, and, since he and his wife share their passion for travel, rumor has it that their apartment has become a giant storage locker for their belongings as they traipse around visiting family and friends, catching the Roots in concert, and exploring the globe one weekend at a time.

Anthony Gambell Tony Gambell lives and works out of Chicago, where he is employed as an operations consultant. His work typically involves using lean manufacturing principles to drive factory turnarounds. He and his wife Leora spend several months per year in New Orleans, which is where Leora grew up and also where they met while supporting the Gulf Coast recovery effort. Tony also enjoys golf, wine, Habitat for Humanity, and playing the drums.

Amy Zimmer Amy Zimmer is an American teacher who
currently lives and works in Santiago, Chile. Amy loves traveling more
than anything and has been to more than 60 countries and to every
continent, yet she still has plenty left to see. Her all-time favorite
travel destinations (so far) are Antarctica, Cambodia, Indonesia, and
Namibia, and the places at the top of her to-see list include Kenya,
Tanzania, India, Iceland, and Egypt. Amy credits her parents with
feeding her love of travel and encouraging her wanderlust.
